BLIND DATE

This sounds kinky, but it's not!  This specific tour is for the visually impared.  So, it's a touchy-feely-smelling safari. Endeavour Safaris also arrange tours for seniors, mobility impaired, the deaf, people needing oxygen and kidney dialysis.  As well as self-drive safaris, family holidays and honeymoon holidays.

For now, we'll be taking a 9 day tour around Cape Town.  You'll enjoy traditional Malay cooking and visit the Aqaurium.  Then off you go to !Kwha Ttu San Culture Centre.  Here you'll enjoy great story telling by the San people of hunting, tracking and gathering.  Listen to their kind of music and the clicking sounds of the San language.  Enjoy a great lunch and refreshments.

Next, visit the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens with it's own braille trail and off we go to Robin Island for another experience of history, Mr Mandela and more.  Then we scoot off to the Townships where you'll meet people with disabilities.  Learn to play the African drums, play games for the blind.  You can donate all your old braille books, audio books and games to this community centre.
Then on the final stretch, we go to Hermanus for a boat trip and enjoy some great food and wine tastings straight from the barrels!  Ending up in Stellenbosch for some more Wine & Chocolate tastings.  Visit the Cheetah Sanctury and enjoy a cultural dinner.

You can take these planned holidays or you can arrange to plan your own holiday.

ANDRENALINE HELICOPTER TOUR

Hi everyone!  I do appologise for disappearing, but I've had a few hectic days.  It is SO HOT in the Cape!  It was 43 degrees yesterday and 36 in the shade.  Anyhow, I know we've covered helicopters before, but this is a helicopter with a difference.  Not your average commercial helis, but a VIETNAM HUEY HELI!
Yes, these are the real deals!  First used for combat in the 1963 Vietnam war and later used for Medevac,
air assaults, gun ships, utility and evacuation.  You'll recall seeing these helis in movies such as PLATOON and WE WERE SOLDIERS.

The Hueys that you'll be flying in, have done 2 tours in Vietnam and spent time at Fort Rucker, training pilots.
The heli was later purchased, then stolen and used during Hurrican Katrina withouth permission from the owner.  The heli has since been returned to its rightful owner.

The Hueys now fly over the Cape Peninsula.  Tours from 15 - 60 min.  Enjoy the thrill of  low flying, manoeuvring through the Blouberg Hills and experience an andrenalin rush combat tour in the skys of the beautiful Cape.

Tours are from R1 800 p/p.  Contact +27 021 419 4839 or you can visit :
