MADAGASCAR VACATION

Hi there!  Been around the block these past few days.  Very windy over the easter weekend, but still in one piece!

Madagascar is the 4th largest island in the world, off the east coast of Mozambique.  Surrounded with beautiful golden beaches, plateaus, volcanoes, forests, nature reserves and ancient ruines.  There are 3 000 species of butterflies!

According to legend, this island was first inhabited by the white pygmy tribe, know as the Vazimba.  Mostly French is spoken, but tours are done in English.

Take your visa and passport with you.  You'll also need to have a few jabs for prevention of certain diseases such Malaria, Hepatitis A, Diptheria, Tetanus and Typhoid.  Sounds scary, but it's for your own safety.

You can enjoy watersports, hiking, golf, pony treks.  Admire the variety of bird species, rare orchids and the infamous lemurs!  Visit the forests, go on eco tours and safaris.

Prices start from $3 795 p/p sharing.  Solo's are from $4 895.  Prices are subject to change.

Visit there website, it's truly beautiful!  Lots of info and a photo gallery. http://www.iexplore.com/
