CAMPS & GAME RESERVES

Welcome back.  Today we shall be visiting 5 star and "less" star getaway places.  This elephant looks great, pitty I'm terribly scared of them!  When I was 6, my dad took us to the circus and forced me to approach one, never been the same since.  Even today at the ripe old age of 40 and we go to game parks, I get the chills.  None the less, an amazing animal!  Anyhow, let's go on holiday!

1.  loskop@aventura.co.za
*Situated in Mpumalanga - home of the white rhino, leopard, crocodile and hippo.
*Accomodations include log cabins, guest house, caravan and camping site.
*Swimming pool, various sports to take part in, game drives and a restaurant for those who are tired of Dads' braaivleis (barbeque)!

2.  http://www.malamala.co.za/
*This is a beautiful place for people with a "beautiful" bank account!
*It's the largest private, big 5 game reserve in South Africa!
*Combination holiday packages are available.  Credit cards welcome, but not cheques.
*Three lovely camps to choose from.
*You can enjoy quite and tranquility with a large dose of adventure.

3.  http://www.sodawnabaynationalpark.co.za/
*Situated in St Lucia, Kwazulu Natal.  So, if you don't like the heat, visit it in the winter!
*It's a great place for scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing.
*You can also enjoy beach rides on horse back.  Very senic with wild life and birds.
*B&B and self catering lodges.  Hotels, flats and other lodings available near by.

4.  http://www.calitzdorpspa.co.za/
*Situated next to the Gamka Mountain Nature Reserve.
*Picnic and braai (barbeque) facilities available, also for day visitors.
*Birding, natural hotspring pool, kiddies pool, sports and hiking.
*Chalets, B&B and carvan park.
*Prices are very reasonable.

Well, that's it for today.  Remember, be vigilant and be safe!

Chow!
