Summer is here and it's time for holidays, fun and adventures!  As I promised, I'll be giving you daily updates of places to visit and things to do in South Africa and her bordering countries.  So, today I've chosen shark diving.  This activity is rather pricey - on averag R1 500 p/person.  But, take a look at what is included in these packages.    I'll be refering you to some of the best web sites to visit which contain ALL the informartion you'll require  :

*This site visits "Shark Alley", near the coast of Gansbay.  Loads of info is available, including foreign currency converters and financial travel information.  It is a fantastic site to visit!

*These tours provide transport to Gansbay, meals and refreshments, diving equipment and expert shark guides.

*This site offers a variety of activities  Shark trips and dives by "Shark Alley"
Visits to Seal Island, off the coast of Simonstown. This is a 1 day trip to the grounds where the infamous White sharks enjoy hunting for their daily meals!  Also a well known site to watch sharks jump out the water as they hunt seals.
Blue Water Predators Tours - this is near Cape Point where we find the Mako and Blue sharks.  Last, but not least  :  Scuba diving - this includes scuba diving activities, diving sites for all preferences and degrees of diving qualifications.

*Pick-up and drop-off point is in Cape Town City Centre.  You'll travel to Gansbay.  Also included is breakfast, lunch, snax and refreshments.  Diving gear is provided.

These sites are worth checking out and I'm sure, they'll cater to all your needs!

Tomorrow we shall be looking at camping sites - caravaning, tents, chalets and so on.

Keep cool this summer and remember the sunblock!

Cheers
